Jenny is Growing

Jenny is growing and changing so quickly.  Here are a few highlights:

Her favorite place to be is definitely outside.   

Thankfully she did not discover how easy these onions were to pull up.

She loves to put things back into containers, definitely a plus for a firstborn!

Spinning is a newly acquired skill.  I love how she holds her arm up when she spins.
Eventually she will learn that spinning can make you dizzy...

 She loves music and frequently asks for me to turn a CD on.

She had her first haircut last week.

 Not sure what she thinks of her new bangs.

She loves climbing in and out of chairs, and knows how to relax like Mommy.

A methodical child, she likes to stack her blocks lots of places.

And lest you think this is easy...

Yard Day

We took advantage of the sun on Saturday and spent most of the afternoon outside.

 The city finally came out to fix the leak in our neighbor's yard, so we spent some time watching them watch the backhoe work.

We now have a beautiful mudpile.

 Jenny has lately enjoyed wearing hats.  This one seems to be best at an angle.

We also attacked the weeds in the backyard.  Hopefully we can get some grass to grow here instead.

Good Hygiene

Hi everyone, this is Jenny!  

I'm here to tell you that good hygiene isn't just important, it's all the rage.

Brushing teeth is a classic favorite.  What's not to like about sucking sweet gel off of a toothbrush?

Some toothbrushes are even good on both ends.

Chapstick is a major must.  Keeping your lips (and nose) protected is essential on cold winter days.

They are even the perfect size to hold three in one hand as you might have noted from the previous video.

As you may well know, curls are in style.
