Bluebonnets

Since Amy decided to ruin our family picture by going back home and having her baby, ;)
Grammy consoled herself by getting pictures of the grandkids.
This was really the best shot.  Jenny refused to sit in the bluebonnets by herself, and Ivy was massively distracted by her toy.
We finally got Jenny happy by singing her favorite songs, and Greg smiled at his mommy's touch.

Connor and Abbie were the real pros, being patient and smiling for almost every picture.

These faces match why six adults were still not quite enough to handle everybody.
By this time Flora was done with pictures ;)

The Night the Water Broke

Jonathan woke me up at 12:45am Saturday morning to this:
After my initial evil thoughts about being awakened at that time of night,
reality started to sink in about as fast as the water spread.
What started in the master bathroom (toilet supply line broke),
spread underneath the walls to every room in the house...
including the garage.
Dad and Nathanael willingly gave up their good night's rest
to come help us pull up flooring and move furniture.
So the past few days have been spent trying to function out of rooms like this:
 and this:
while we wait for the insurance to process.

Jenny has enjoyed the exciting new surroundings, although some of the fans are scary.
This is how I found her this morning.

Spring break was full of cleaning and organizing.  The biggest thing that got done (with Mom's help) was getting Jenny's room ready for the baby.
This is a little video walkthrough.  Many thanks to Mom and Jenna for the furniture.
It's neat to be able to use stuff from Katie's room.

And for those whose internet is too slow, here are some pictures.

Jenny is working on increasing her vocabulary with "ba-boo" (peek-a-boo),  "roof" (Ruth), "wawa" (water), "dah" (dog). "mo" (more) and many others that I can't remember right now.

I caught a little video of her singing her favorite song.
When Mommy won't sing it with her, she abbreviates it to "row, row, rock, rock, aaah!"
